GLAPWELL welcomed the return of Steve Heighway and Freddie Morgan to the starting line-up.

However, neither of them could inspire the home side as they crashed to their fifth successive defeat.

The visitors shocked the home supporters after just two minutes.

Dexter Tucker beat Neil West to a through-ball to prod home from twelve yards.

Glapwell, meanwhile, looked a side lacking ideas and confidence.

The end of the season cannot come quickly enough on this showing, with the visitors controlling the game in the first half.

Glapwell fell further behind on 57 minutes when Ryan Carmody fired past West from just inside the box.

Adie Carter went close a minute later when his rising drive shaved the bar from a Lee Rhodes lay-off.

Glapwell never looked like getting back into the game and have now gone over 270 minutes without scoring.

MEANWHILE, Glapwell fell to fifteenth in midweek - a drop of seven places in four weeks - thanks to Sheffield’s victory over Liversedge.

It is the club’s lowest position of the season.
